UAFS and ATU-Ozark awarded federal TRIO Grants to aid first-gen, low-income students
Arkansas Tech University-Ozark and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith received $4 million in TRIO Student Support Services grants to aid first-generation, low-income, and disabled students. ATU-Ozark will support 140 students annually with a $1.3 million grant, while UAFS will assist nearly 300 students with $2.7 million across two programs. Both universities encourage eligible students to apply for these resources.
