Fort Smith, ARLocal News

Clinton and Cristen Brink were killed while hiking at Devil's Den State Park on July 26, leaving their two daughters, aged 7 and 9, unharmed. Authorities are actively seeking a white male suspect, who was last seen driving a black four-door sedan and may have sustained an injury during the attack. The FBI is collaborating with Arkansas State Police to enhance the investigation's resources and manpower. A family statement called for justice, noting the couple's heroism in protecting their daughters. Clinton Brink had recently been hired by Hiland Dairy, which expressed condolences and recognized his commitment to family.

Investigators are asking park visitors to review any footage from the day of the attack that may assist in identifying the suspect. The site of the attack remains closed as officials caution the public against posting evidence online to avoid compromising the investigation. Devil's Den State Park is located in a remote area with limited cellphone service, complicating the ongoing search for information.
