Arkansas State Police investigate double homicide at Devils Den State Park

Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were fatally attacked while hiking at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas on July 26, leaving their daughters, aged 7 and 9, unharmed. The incident was reported to the Arkansas State Police around 2:40 p. m. , leading to an ongoing investigation classified as a double homicide. The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing dark clothing and a black backpack, and last seen driving a black sedan.

The area of the park where the attack occurred remains closed, complicating the investigation due to rugged terrain and limited cellphone service. Shea Lewis emphasized the importance of safety in state parks, noting that law enforcement presence has been increased following the incident. Police are urging anyone who visited the park that day to review their photos or videos for potential evidence.
