Felon posing as Edmonds police detective arrested in Bremerton for impersonation, firearm charges
Bremerton Police arrested Michael A. Scaletta-Teates, 49, for impersonating an Edmonds detective while armed and in possession of police equipment. He approached an active police scene in an unmarked vehicle with blue lights and claimed to be an off-duty officer. Scaletta-Teates, a convicted felon, faces charges of first-degree criminal impersonation and unlawful possession of a firearm.
