Edmonds police arrest MLT man on suspicion of drug dealing

Edmonds, WALocal News

Edmonds police arrested a 31-year-old Mountlake Terrace man this week on suspicion of drug possession with intent to deliver. This action followed an extensive investigation by the Problem Solving Emphasis Team (PSET) into local drug trafficking activities. During a search warrant execution on a vehicle, officers seized nearly 5 ounces of pressed fentanyl, over $800 in cash, a digital scale, and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was apprehended without incident and is now being held at Snohomish County Jail. This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding fentanyl distribution in the region, as the drug poses significant health risks.

The Edmonds Police Department continues to address these challenges through targeted enforcement efforts. Community members may find reassurance in law enforcement’s commitment to tackling drug-related issues. Enhanced police activity may lead to a decrease in local drug trafficking incidents.
