Edmonds, WALocal News

Sauna ‘N Soak, a new mobile sauna, debuted at North Brackett’s Landing in Edmonds, allowing residents to enjoy a traditional Nordic sauna experience. Owner Matt Pirie, a local personal trainer, emphasizes the health benefits of sauna use, including detoxification and relaxation, charging $40 for a 45-minute session. The sauna operates primarily Thursday through Sunday, with the option for customers to schedule visits at other times online. Lifelong swimmer Christy Flynn, who regularly participates in cold plunges, praised the therapeutic benefits of the sauna experience, noting it fosters community connections. Pirie pays the city $5,500 each month for the sauna's location, hoping the business will thrive.

The sauna heats up to 170 degrees using environmentally friendly Presto logs. Customers enjoy alternating between the hot sauna and cold Puget Sound for enhanced relaxation. Introductory discounts will be available from September 12-14, with promo code PROMO50 for new customers.
