Matthew Klifman Takes Over as All Kids Win Board Chair

Olympia, WALocal News

Matthew Klifman will take over as board chair of All Kids Win, succeeding founder Kelly Wilson, who has served for 19 years. The nonprofit, established in 2006, focuses on providing food resources to homeless youth in Thurston County by distributing weekend food bags filled with essential nonperishable items. Klifman, a financial sales manager at First Citizens Bank, has been involved with the organization since joining the board in 2019. He emphasized the importance of the all-volunteer model, which allows more funds to be directed towards feeding local children. The weekend food bags play a crucial role in alleviating hunger and fostering relationships between students and school staff, enabling access to additional resources.

Demand for the program has surged, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic when school meals were inaccessible. Klifman expressed a commitment to addressing food insecurity among students to help them graduate high school. Community support through donations and volunteering is vital for the ongoing success of All Kids Win.
