Clarissa Alvarado, who is eight months pregnant, recounted the moment they were stopped at a light when a large truck collided with them, first as an accident and then a second time with full force. The dashcam footage captured the severity of the crash, leaving the family with a totaled car and significant emotional distress. While both Alvarado and her daughter sustained only minor physical injuries, they are now grappling with anxiety and sleepless nights as they replay the traumatic event in their minds. Lacey Police have arrested the driver, who faces several charges, including DUI and malicious mischief.

The incident underscores the dangers of impaired driving and its far-reaching consequences. Alvarado expressed gratitude that they survived but also shared the burden of dealing with insurance claims. To help with their financial situation, the family has initiated a GoFundMe campaign.
