Thieves steal father's credit card during Seattle Kraken game

Olympia, WALocal News

A father from Lake Forest Park, Andrey Gulobovich, became a victim of theft while enjoying a Seattle Kraken game with his young son on March 16. During the game, he received alarming notifications from his bank about fraudulent purchases being made in Renton. Upon returning to his car outside Climate Pledge Arena, he found his window smashed and his wallet missing. The Renton Police Department has since identified two suspects caught on surveillance cameras at a nearby Fred Meyer store that night. The total amount of fraudulent purchases is estimated at nearly $4,500, which included high-value items like an Xbox and a sound system.

Gulobovich expressed frustration over the situation, mentioning that the thieves accessed his debit cards linked to his multiple businesses. He has since taken steps to dispute the charges, recently signing documents to declare that the unauthorized purchases were not his. The police are currently seeking anyone with additional information to assist in their investigation.
