Saint Martin’s University has been awarded the gold designation as a Military Friendly School for the 2025-2026 academic year, marking its sixth consecutive recognition from VIQTORY. This accolade underscores the university's ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for military students and their families. President Bill Brownsberger noted that this designation is a testament to the university's dedication to those who have served. The Military Friendly Schools list serves as a vital benchmark for higher education institutions striving to provide exceptional opportunities for veterans. More than 1,800 schools participated in the evaluation process, with 830 institutions receiving special accolades for their outstanding support services.

This year, Saint Martin's also earned recognition as a Military Support College of Distinction and the first Purple Heart University in Washington State. The university's tailored programs, including the Washington Veterans to Technology certificate program, aim to help military-affiliated students transition successfully into new careers. With a strong dedication to serving the military community, Saint Martin's continues to enhance its offerings and support systems, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in military education.
