Local officials emphasize that these facilities not only serve the city of Olympia but also benefit the broader Thurston County community.

Construction is expected to begin in September 2025, with a projected completion timeline of 15 months. The initiative highlights a commitment to providing supportive services and addressing the root causes of homelessness with dignity and compassion.
