The brutal assault resulted in the victim suffering three broken ribs and a brain bleed, requiring emergency medical attention at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Police apprehended the suspect near Interstate 5, where he reportedly resisted arrest and head-butted an officer, leading to additional charges for assaulting law enforcement.
