The events transpired around 3:15 p. m. on November 24, when security personnel detained her for attempting to steal. As they attempted to verify her identity, she threatened to shoot them, escalating the situation dramatically.

In a frenzied act, she grabbed scissors from a desk and attacked, injuring one worker in the hand and causing cuts to another's arm and fingers. After the attack, the woman was subdued, and police were called to the scene. Olympia police have charged her with felony harassment, second-degree assault, and third-degree theft, highlighting the serious nature of her actions.
