New study ranks four WA cities among the best for singles, Seattle sits among the top three

Olympia, WALocal News

A recent study by Wallethub has identified Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, and Vancouver as top cities for singles in the U. S. , showcasing a shift in the region's dating dynamics. Seattle, which was previously ranked first, has dropped to third place largely due to economic factors, where it scored poorly. The study assessed 182 cities on various indicators, including online dating opportunities and dining costs for couples.

Despite its economic ranking, Seattle remains an attractive option for singles, offering a vibrant social scene with numerous attractions like social clubs and music festivals. Spokane and Tacoma ranked 49th and 82nd, respectively, while Vancouver was placed 132nd. The findings challenge the stereotype of the 'Seattle freeze,' highlighting the city's potential for singles to connect.
