River Ridge High School opened a new classroom wing featuring 70 classrooms, a library, and specialized spaces for science and special education. This modernization project, funded by voter support of a 2020 bond and state contributions, replaces the previous campus layout with a more secure and connected design. The new facility also includes a student commons, outdoor courtyard, tennis courts, and an auxiliary gym with a weight room and wrestling area. Upgrades to the pool's mechanical and electrical elements and a new kitchen were also completed. The school, which first opened in 1993, is benefiting from state funding available for buildings over 30 years old.

Upcoming enhancements will include new music spaces, a refurbished theater, and a new administrative wing. With these developments, River Ridge High School aims to foster a stronger sense of community among students and staff. This initiative underscores the importance of investing in educational infrastructure to support student success.
