Check out The Lovely Dapper Bakery in Olympia

Olympia, WALocal News

The Lovely & Dapper Bakery opened on Olympia’s West Side, creating a homey atmosphere that invites patrons to return. Owned by Emily and Drew Crain, the bakery transitioned from a successful pop-up in Seattle to a permanent location, driven by their dream of owning a business. They initially operated through pop-ups and catering, facing challenges with the logistics of traveling for events. The couple found Olympia to be an ideal community that supports small businesses, allowing them to build a loyal customer base. Emily’s love for baking began in childhood, and she finds joy in experimenting with flavors, while Drew appreciates the artistic space their bakery provides.

Their offerings include a variety of baked goods, with a focus on gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan alternatives, all under the motto “Everyone deserves cake. ” The bakery plans to introduce seasonal specials and new decor to remain fresh in the community’s mind. Their goal is to become a cherished tradition for locals, fostering a sense of connection in the neighborhood.
