New Restaurant in Downtown Olympia Opening Soon

Olympia, WALocal News

Altitude 15 is poised to become a vibrant food hall in downtown Olympia, featuring four distinct eateries and a community-centric atmosphere. Owners Cher and Mike Hobbick aim to support local chefs by offering them a platform to launch their culinary dreams without the usual financial strain. The space boasts spacious indoor seating, an outdoor section with heated picnic tables, and a play area for children, making it family-friendly. Artistic touches, such as a mural by Sarah Folden and a 15-foot lighted cherry tree, create a unique dining experience. The venue will also include opportunities for pop-up businesses and private events, featuring a specially decorated space for such occasions.

Cher Hobbick's established catering business, Bite Me Catering, will have a permanent home in Altitude 15, with an expanded menu that includes special fried chicken. Progress on the project has been steady, with local contractors contributing to the renovation. Cher and Mike view this endeavor as a heartfelt community project rather than a typical retirement venture.
