Three Arrested Following Armed Robbery in Oakland

On June 15, 2025, Oakland police arrested three suspects involved in an armed robbery that transpired shortly before 10:15 p. m. at a business located on MacArthur Boulevard. The suspects threatened a victim with an object, stealing cigarettes and cash before fleeing in a vehicle. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle, but the suspects attempted to evade capture, resulting in a collision with an unoccupied parked car.

As they fled on foot, one suspect brandished a firearm, prompting a swift response from patrol officers. All three suspects were arrested, and the firearm was recovered. The incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding commercial robberies in the area. The Oakland Police Department urges anyone with additional information or video footage to reach out to assist with the investigation.
