The Leavenworth Community Farmers Market will open its 17th season on May 31 at the Leavenworth Lions Club Park. The market offers a variety of fresh Washington-grown produce, flowers, and artisan goods from local vendors. Customers can pay using credit cards, SNAP EBT, and other programs, with the market doubling the value of SNAP EBT and SUN Bucks up to $25 per day. A T-shirt fundraiser featuring custom artwork by local farmer Kim Nelson will run until June 3 to help fund the market's operations. Ticket sales for the upcoming Farm to Table Dinner Fundraiser, set for August 22, will begin on June 21, featuring a six-course dinner prepared by local chefs.

The market also encourages new vendors to apply, with applications accepted until August 31. The initiative not only supports local agriculture but also fosters community engagement through events and fundraisers. This season marks a significant opportunity for local farmers and artisans to showcase their products.
