This event, a staple of the local community for over a decade, encourages a mix of experienced athletes, families, and pets to engage in a pre-Thanksgiving workout. Many participants embraced the costume tradition, dressing as festive characters like elves and turkeys while navigating through downtown streets. Proceeds from the fun run directly support the Cascade High School Cross Country team, which organizes the event, fostering local youth sports. Assistant Coach Landon Davies expressed his gratitude for the turnout despite the inclement weather, emphasizing the strong community spirit.
