2 People Arrested in Connection to Leavenworth Car Prowls

Police arrested two suspects late Wednesday in Leavenworth for a series of vehicle prowls. A woman flagged down a deputy at 11 p. m. Thursday, May 22, reporting her bicycle stolen from her truck. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office used her detailed description to locate the suspects, including 26-year-old Marque Wilson, who was found riding the stolen bike.

Deputies detained both Wilson and 32-year-old Phillip Green Jr. and recovered multiple stolen items linked to other vehicle prowls in the vicinity. They were booked at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center on suspicion of possession of stolen property. This incident underscores the persistent problem of vehicle theft in Leavenworth, prompting increased police vigilance.
