Link Transit holds Kids Day at Columbia Station on June 14

Link Transit announces its inaugural Kids’ Day at Columbia Station on June 14, running from 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. The event aims to celebrate families and young riders as part of "Ride Transit" Month.

Attendees will have the chance to meet Link Transit's mascot Chip the Duck and other local mascots, including Walt the Wolf and Coyote. Activities include games, interactive experiences, and free refreshments, creating an engaging atmosphere for children. Kids can win prizes while learning about the benefits of using public transit and the family-friendly services offered by Link Transit. This initiative seeks to increase ridership and encourage community involvement with local transit systems. Link Transit hopes that Kids’ Day will provide a welcoming environment for both new and experienced young riders.

Families are encouraged to join in for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and valuable transit education.
