Directed by Spokane-based filmmaker Jared Briley, the movie explores young love and self-discovery through a road trip narrative. Filming occurred over 18 days in various iconic Washington locations, including Olympic National Park and Spokane. Local businesses, including Icicle Valley Automotive and the Outpost Saloon, provided essential support, showcasing the community's involvement in the project. Briley describes the film as a "love letter to Washington," reflecting the passion of the homegrown cast and crew.

Washington Filmworks supported the production, contributing approximately one-third of the budget through its Small Budget Production Initiative. This initiative aims to enhance the competitiveness of Washington's film industry by supporting local filmmakers. The movie's localized nature highlights the potential for future projects from Washington filmmakers.
