On April 26, the Community Earth Day Fair took place at Enchantment Park in Leavenworth, hosted for the fourth consecutive year by Waste Loop, a non-profit focused on transforming local waste into sustainable resources. The event attracted attendees of all ages, offering local food, live music, and educational booths aimed at fostering environmental awareness. Amanda Close, Waste Loop’s Education and Outreach Manager, highlighted the fair’s role in bringing the community together to celebrate nature and sustainability. The day featured a fun run/walk/bike event that promoted alternative transportation and included a face painting station run by the Cascade High School Environmental Sustainability Club. Local artisans displayed eco-friendly products, showcasing the region's creativity.
