Cascade High School students engaged in their third annual Community Clean-Up event on April 24, 2025, in Leavenworth. Organized by the CHS Interact Club with support from the Leavenworth Rotary, the event aimed to promote environmental stewardship and community service. Students gathered in advisory classes to receive trash bags and gloves before being assigned specific areas to clean. Senior Jaxson Groby, the Interact Vice President, played a key role in securing support and supplies from Rotary. Participants cleaned areas including Ski Hill and the Wenatchee River Institute, each tasked with filling at least two trash bags.

This initiative not only enhances the community's appearance but also instills a sense of responsibility among students. The Leavenworth Rotary, part of Rotary International, regularly collaborates with Interact for such events, emphasizing education and humanitarian aid. CHS plans to uphold this valuable tradition, fostering community involvement and environmental awareness.
