However, the situation has deteriorated, with a notable increase in both cases and hospitalizations in the area. As a result, the mayor has announced that masks will again be required in City Hall and other city facilities.

Florea urges local businesses to follow suit, emphasizing the importance of collective action to disrupt the virus's spread. He acknowledges the disappointment of reverting to these measures but maintains a hopeful outlook for a swift resolution to the surge. The letter highlights the ongoing need for vigilance and community cooperation. Mayor Florea invites residents to continue engaging with City Hall safely, reinforcing a commitment to public health.
