The City of Leavenworth has launched a City Project Tracker webpage, enhancing the flow of information regarding local projects and encouraging community engagement. As part of its 2021 website redesign, the tracker provides residents with essential updates on initiatives like the Pine Street Phase 2 Roundabout and the PRSA Community Aquatic/Recreation Center feasibility study. Each project page is equipped with crucial information, including schedules, general updates, and contact details for project leads, along with an FAQ section for common inquiries. Residents can also subscribe to receive email notifications for specific projects, keeping them informed as developments occur. City Administrator Matthew Selby highlighted that this spring and summer will see a surge of activity with multiple projects, making clear communication vital.

The Project Tracker aims to centralize information, allowing residents to access it conveniently in one place. Additionally, the city will link to external projects that affect residents, like the upcoming WSDOT Highway 2 paving project. This initiative underscores the City of Leavenworth's dedication to transparency and community involvement in local governance.
