The City of Leavenworth is officially calling for bids for the Highway 2 Crosswalk Improvements project, with sealed bids due by 2:00 PM on August 3, 2018. A pre-bid conference will take place at 1:00 PM on July 27, 2018, at City Hall, where potential bidders can gather more information. The project scope includes the removal and replacement of existing sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, alongside the installation of two hawk signal systems and one LED RRFB traffic signal system. Bidders must submit their proposals in a clearly marked envelope, and late submissions will not be considered. To ensure commitment, a bid proposal deposit of 5% is required, which will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to meet contract obligations.

The City retains the right to waive minor defects in bids or reject any that do not meet specifications.
