The City of Leavenworth is excited to announce a free Snowmobile Safety Certification Class scheduled for December 8th, specifically targeting youth aged 12 to 16. This initiative, organized by the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with local organizations, aims to instill safe riding practices among young snowmobilers. The class will take place at the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club and will run from 8 a. m. to 4 p.

Participants will receive comprehensive training that includes basic snowmobile maintenance, emergency survival skills, and proper riding techniques, ensuring they are well-prepared for winter adventures. Lunch will be provided for all attendees, further encouraging participation. The registration deadline is December 6th, and parental consent is required for minors.
