The Adult Social Walking Program is an initiative launched by the City of Leavenworth to promote physical activity and community engagement during the winter months. Set to commence on January 3, 2019, the program will be held at the Festhalle, where residents can walk laps in a safe and friendly environment from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. This program is free of charge, encouraging participation from adults looking to maintain an active lifestyle. Participants only need to bring dry walking shoes and a positive attitude, creating an inviting atmosphere for all. Unfortunately, the program currently cannot accommodate children, focusing solely on adult engagement.
