The Autumn Leaf Festival, a cherished local event in Leavenworth, will take place on September 28, 2019, celebrating the beauty of fall and community togetherness. To accommodate the festivities, several street closures will occur, necessitating careful travel planning for residents and visitors alike. West bound Highway 2 will be closed at Chumstick Highway from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, while East bound Highway 2 will see closures at Icicle Road during the same hours. Front Street will also be closed from 14th Street to Highway 2 for the parade, with detours suggested via East Leavenworth Road and Icicle Road. After the parade, Front Street will reopen partially, but certain sections will remain closed.
