The Chelan County Moderate Risk Waste Facility will reopen on May 7, 2020, after a closure due to COVID-19 precautions enforced by Chelan County Public Works. This facility, situated at 3612 Highway 97A, will operate from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m.

Thursday through Saturday, catering specifically to residents of Chelan County. Individuals experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are urged to refrain from visiting the facility to ensure the safety of all patrons. To facilitate proper disposal, the public must follow guidelines, including not mixing hazardous products and keeping items in their original containers when possible. Containers should be non-leaking and ideally no larger than five gallons. Upon arrival, residents should have their identification ready to confirm residency and remain in their vehicles during the unloading process.
