The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is undertaking this project to stabilize a slope with a history of rockfall, enhancing safety for all travelers. Initially, full stop closures will be enforced from 6 a. m. to 11:30 a.

Afterward, traffic will be managed by flaggers, with one lane open and potential delays continuing throughout the day.
