FREE river recreation shuttle to run this summer starting June 29 City of Leavenworth

The City of Leavenworth is set to launch a free river recreation shuttle service starting June 29, 2024, in partnership with Leavenworth Taxi & Shuttle. This shuttle will facilitate easy transportation for river users between the Leavenworth Public Boat Ramp and key river access points, including the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery and the Icicle Road Bridge. Scheduled to operate on weekends and holidays from 10:00 a. m. to 6:00 p.

m. until September 2, 2024, the shuttle will run approximately every 30 minutes, enhancing accessibility to the area's natural attractions. Although the shuttle does not guarantee space for tubes, SUPs, or kayaks, it may accommodate personal floating devices and dry bags at the discretion of the driver. This initiative not only supports local tourism but also promotes outdoor recreational activities in the region.
