The Lower Sugarloaf Fire has expanded to nearly 40,000 acres with 38 percent containment, while the Labor Mountain Fire has grown to over 35,300 acres with only 7 percent containment. Evacuation notices have fluctuated, with Level 3 advisories still in effect for Ingalls Creek and Mission Creek Road, while some areas have been downgraded to Level 2. Incident Commander Tim Sexton highlighted the challenges posed by dry cold fronts and rugged terrain, complicating firefighting efforts. Air support has faced limitations due to smoke and wind, reducing its effectiveness in difficult areas. Residents are urged to stay informed through the Chelan County Emergency Management website regarding evacuation levels and resources.

A Red Cross evacuation center is available in Cashmere, and several facilities are accepting large animals. The county has also extended the outdoor burning ban for two weeks due to ongoing fire conditions. The situation remains critical as officials continue to monitor and respond to the fires.
