Cascade School District celebrates standout year in academics, arts and athletics

Cascade School District highlighted its achievements from the previous year as it starts a new school year. The district was honored as a Green Ribbon School District, reflecting its dedication to sustainability. In athletics, Cascade High School athletes set multiple records, including a new 4x100 meter relay time of 43. 76 seconds. Additionally, the cross-country teams earned league championships, and several students qualified for state competitions in tennis and golf.

Academically, Caroline Menna and Cruz Martinez-Nieto received nominations for the U. S. Presidential Scholars Program, with Menna winning the honor. The CHS Knowledge Bowl team placed fourth in the state, while the Future Business Leaders of America had notable success at the State Business Leadership Conference. These accomplishments demonstrate the district's commitment to fostering a well-rounded educational environment.

As the new school year begins, the district looks to build on this momentum.
