Public entities recorded an average of $5. 8 million in cuts, while nonprofits suffered an average budget reduction of 25.

1%. A government entity reported losing both $2. 6 million in state funds and $4. 1 million in federal funds. Survey participants warned that the full extent of these cuts might not be realized for months or even years.

Organizations are already adapting by reducing programs, laying off staff, and dipping into financial reserves to cope. This report follows an earlier analysis of federal budget cuts' impact on North Central Washington. Both reports provide a real-time overview of how funding reductions are affecting essential services, including education, health care, and housing.
