Leavenworth Village Voices seeks new singers

Leavenworth, WALocal News

The Leavenworth Village Voices (LVV) community choir will host its Season Opener Picnic at Lions Club Park at 6 p. m. on August 11. This annual event welcomes both returning members and newcomers, providing an opportunity to socialize and enjoy food and beverages. Founded in 1982, the choir enhances Leavenworth's Christmas celebrations with a variety of performances.

New singers can join without auditions, and music-reading skills are not required, as the choir supplies sheet music and practice tracks. Rehearsals will commence on August 18 at New Life Church in Peshastin, occurring weekly from 6:30 to 8:30 p. m. Mindy Wall returns as the director, bringing extensive experience in teaching choirs and musical theater. Accompanist Nick Colletto will also be back for the new season.
