WSDOT set to begin US-2 repaving near Coles Corner

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will repave US-2 near Coles Corner starting July 14, covering a stretch from milepost 78 to milepost 89. The project aims to resurface the driving lanes and perform bridgework at milepost 81, near Nason Creek. Travelers should prepare for single-lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic from 7 a. m. to 8 p.

m. , to reduce disruption from a slope-stabilization project at mileposts 60 and 98. WSDOT expects the repaving project to be completed by mid-October.
