Cascade graduate earns state leadership award for leadership, inclusion
Cruz Martinez, a Cascade High School graduate, received the Student Leadership Award from the Washington Association of School Administrators for his exemplary leadership in promoting inclusivity and equity. As senior class president, he took significant steps to address the lack of diversity within the associated student body, ensuring that all students felt represented and heard. His leadership was acknowledged through three nominations, showcasing the respect he earned from peers and educators.
