What to do in the upper valley over Fourth of July weekend

Chelan County will celebrate Fourth of July weekend with a variety of activities, despite a ban on recreational fireworks. Icicle Village Resort's 4th of July Plaza-Palooza will take place from 11 a. m. to 3 p. m.

on July 4, featuring games, music, and food options for attendees. Downtown Leavenworth will also host a farmer’s market and live performances, including local musician Chris Ward from 4 p. m. to 7 p. m.

on July 3 and the Bonnie Birch Trio during the weekend. Additionally, the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club will hold a community flea market on July 4 and 5, culminating in an Independence Day parade led by Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue. Attendees at the parade can enjoy ice cream and live music by Virgil Eagle, further enriching the holiday spirit. On July 4, Plain Cellars will offer live music from The Lounge Kings and the Nick Mardon Trio, encouraging guests to bring lawn chairs and enjoy local food and beverages.
