NCW Tech Alliance launches AI use case showdown with 5,000 in prizes

The NCW Tech Alliance has launched the “AI Use Case Showdown,” a regional pitch competition offering a total of $5,000 in prizes for AI innovations. Participants from sectors such as education, business, government, healthcare, and nonprofits are invited to demonstrate how they apply AI to tackle real-world challenges. Each selected participant will deliver an eight-minute pitch to a panel of judges and the audience, followed by a Q&A session. The audience will vote for their favorite presentation, awarding a $4,000 grand prize to the "Fan Favorite," while four additional finalists will receive $250 each. Scheduled for August 14, 2025, at the Wenatchee Convention Center, the event is part of the free AI Expo co-hosted by local organizations.

The application deadline is July 15, with notifications to be sent in early August. David Mabee, Marketing Director at NCW Tech Alliance, expressed excitement about the competition, emphasizing the importance of storytelling in showcasing the impact of AI.
