Police Investigating Two Homes Under Construction Damaged by Fire in Everett

At approximately 1:00 a. m. on February 19, 2025, the Everett Fire Department responded to urgent calls regarding a house fire on Lombard Avenue, affecting two homes under construction. Fire crews arrived to find one home completely engulfed in flames, which rapidly spread to a second residence, leading to substantial damage. The fire was contained and extinguished within 20 minutes, with no injuries reported among residents or firefighters.

Fortunately, the neighboring home and gazebo sustained only minor damage, ensuring that those residents were not displaced. Snohomish PUD was dispatched to address downed power lines caused during firefighting operations, temporarily closing roadways until around 2:00 a. m. The Everett Police Department is actively investigating the incident, with no suspects currently in custody. The cause and origin of the fire are yet to be determined, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
