Duplex Fire in North Everett

This morning at 5:45 a. m. , Everett Fire responded to a report of smoke and flames at a duplex located on the 700 block of Linden St. in North Everett's Delta neighborhood. Firefighters evacuated residents and quickly brought the fire under control, which resulted in significant damage to the entryway and melted the garbage can outside.

One patient was evaluated on-site and released, while three individuals were displaced due to the fire. The duplex is directly across from the Grandview Community Resource Center, a facility that offers various community services, including food assistance and Medicare Savings Programs. Local officials are investigating the cause of the fire, emphasizing the need for ongoing fire safety education in the community. This incident highlights the potential risks associated with residential fires and the importance of swift emergency response.
