The Port of Everett has finalized a 10-year lease for Marina Azul Cocina & Cantina, which will become part of the waterfront dining scene at Waterfront Place. This new Mexican restaurant, managed by a family with extensive experience in the industry, will offer a refined dining experience with authentic cuisine and an impressive selection of over 100 tequilas. The lease includes the option for two five-year extensions and encompasses a 2,500-square-foot interior space and a covered patio for year-round outdoor dining. Owner Julian Ramos expressed enthusiasm for meeting community demands for diverse dining options, promising a menu that includes crowd favorites and caters to various dietary preferences. The restaurant will join other establishments in the area, enhancing the overall appeal of Waterfront Place as a dining and leisure destination.

The Port of Everett continues to seek new tenants following the withdrawal of a previously planned cafe, indicating ongoing opportunities for growth in the area. Marina Azul Cocina & Cantina is anticipated to open early next year, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to the waterfront.
