Two homes under construction damaged in early morning fire in Everett no injuries

In the early hours of February 19, 2025, the Everett Fire Department responded to multiple 911 calls regarding a house fire on Lombard Avenue, affecting two homes under construction. Firefighters arrived to find one residence completely engulfed in flames, which spread to a second home, resulting in significant exterior damage. Quick action by the fire crews allowed them to contain and extinguish the fire within 20 minutes, preventing further damage. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to residents or first responders, and the residents of a neighboring home were not displaced. Snohomish PUD was called to the scene to manage downed power lines caused during firefighting efforts.

Roadways were temporarily closed, but they reopened around 2:00 a. m. The fire is currently under investigation by the Everett Police Department, with no suspects in custody. The Everett Fire Department expressed gratitude to their automatic aid partners, emphasizing community collaboration in emergency responses.
