A sewer improvement project is currently underway on Antsen Street SW in Tumwater, affecting traffic lanes between Sapp Road SW and Chapparel Drive. The project involves constructing a new sanitary sewer force main in the northbound lane and will continue until the end of July. Work hours are set from 7 a. m. to 5 p.

m. on weekdays, with city officials assuring that two-way traffic will be maintained through flagger-controlled, alternating one-way access. Parking restrictions and temporary detours may be used during working hours to accommodate construction. The city will conduct final pavement restoration later this summer as part of the 2025 Pavement Maintenance Project. The construction schedule may change due to weather or project delays.
