City of Tumwater launches community survey

Tumwater, WALocal News

Tumwater officials launched a community survey on May 2, 2025, seeking input from local residents and business owners regarding city services and priorities. The city emphasized that community feedback plays a crucial role in shaping its strategic planning processes. Participants may receive outreach via calls, texts, or emails from a partner organization, "research polls," to encourage their involvement. If individuals do not receive an invitation for the randomly-selected survey, they can still provide input through a public version available from May 14 until mid-June. The city encourages residents to check their website, social media channels, or the monthly newsletter, Tumwater on Tap, for updates.

This initiative reflects the city's commitment to enhancing service delivery based on community needs. Tumwater collaborates with local research firm DHM Research to conduct the survey effectively. Engaging the community in this manner aims to ensure that city services align with the residents' priorities and expectations.
