Man wanted on felony warrant nabbed after bicycle stop

Tumwater, WALocal News

Tumwater police arrested Scott Clifford Bice, 31, after he allegedly provided a false identity during a traffic stop for riding a bicycle without required lights. Upon checking his identification, officers found discrepancies between the man and the photo of the individual he claimed to be. Bice was later identified through fingerprint records and was discovered to be wanted for escaping community custody. In addition to impersonation charges, he possessed items reported stolen from another individual, who also experienced unauthorized withdrawals totaling $500 from his bank account. The victim's bank access devices were found in Bice's possession.
