The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County held its annual meeting on May 31, 2025, where it elected new officers and recognized outstanding members. Adrienne Fraley succeeded Cathy Liu Scott as president, with Michelle Fellows and Wendy Colbert taking on the roles of First Vice President and Secretary, respectively. Jody Trautwein and Bob Creamer were awarded the Legends of the League honor for their long-standing contributions to the organization and community engagement. Trautwein led voter services for years and facilitated candidate forums, while Creamer played a pivotal role in reforming local council representation. The League's membership rose to 240, making it the third largest in Washington, reflecting its increasing influence.

Advocacy efforts will prioritize empowering voters and defending democracy, responsible forest management, and redistricting reform. The upcoming LWVSC annual report, due in September, will provide further details on these initiatives. The League has a rich history of supporting voter engagement, having sponsored televised presidential debates since 1976.
